Justin Preddy, AKA "Hobbitt," of Oxford, North Carolina has proudly served the Faded Blues as President since our founding. Justin is a 2016 graduate of Granville Central high school where he served as reporter and vice-president of the Granville Central FFA chapter. In 2017, Justin became the first FFA American degree recipient from Granville Central and forth from Granville county.

Justin has a intense passion for helping people. When he's not volunteering, he's working as a paramedic in Franklin and Granville counties. He graduated from Lenoir Community College with an associates degree in Emergency Medical Science in 2019. Justin attended Western Carolina University earning two bachelors degrees in both emergency medical science and emergency & disaster management in 2022. Justin is now pursing his masters of health science with a concentration in EMS again at Western Carolina University. Go Cats!

Justin not only volunteers locally here with the Faded Blues but was also elected to the North Carolina State FFA Alumni Association in 2019 as one of the youngest board members in the association's almost 50 year history. He proudly represents FFA alumni chapters across the central region of North Carolina. In 2021, Justin was elected as president of the NC FFA Alumni Association becoming the youngest state FFA alumni president in the nation! A major focus of his platform includes diversity, modernization, and incorporating a younger generation into FFA alumni leadership. As part of this role, Justin also serves on the NC FFA Board of Directors. You can learn more about the North Carolina State Alumni Association by clicking here.

Justin, along with other former Granville Central FFA members, played a significant role in forming our organization. He has seen and helped push every milestone this great organization has achieved. Without the hard-work and guidance he shares with this chapter we wouldn't hail in comparison.
